20 Years of Furry Conventions!
A long time ago, not too far from here, the first Furry Convention
was born. Since then we've had 20 years of fun, facination, and fur. It's been quite a ride.
Below are some of the conbooks we've had over the ages. Now you can FLIP through conbooks. Try it out!

The cover of this book also dates it in the 1980's when punk was IN and if you had a DeLorean, you could go back in time.

This was a time when themes were an afterthought. So you'll have a hard time finding one in here.
Notice though that the cover art for the conbook was done by Steve Martin. And by Confurence 3, the conbook size had grown to a whopping 32 pages!

ConFurence 6 - Transformation & Magic
The first furry conventions came from oversized furry parties that and side events at larger Sci-Fi conventions. So it's little wonder that, in the beginning, there were some famous Sci-Fi names that came to be Guests of Honor. At this convention it was
Alan Dean Foster - famous for numerous sci-fi books and TV screen plays.

ConFurence 7 - Furries in Force
Furries with guns & ammo. Beware the cute and deadly.
It looks like furries will continue to be represented on the warfront as is seen in this up-coming japanese release (with english subtitles)*.
