Califur 2007 Events

This is the exciting slate of what we have for 2007:

ALL WEEKEND

• Mission Furpossible:
  After last year's exciting treasure hunt, we wanted to try something new and adventurous. This time, your mission is to thwart a diabolical villain and become a hero! Can you handle the danger?
• Guests of Honor:
  Upcoming artist Balaa (Saturday at 1pm), veteran comic creator Roz Gibson (Sunday at 11am), and musician Marc Gunn (Saturday at noon) will be featured in meet & greets as well as other events.
• Special Interest Groups (SIGs):
  Discussion panels that tackle a wide range of topics of interest to the fandom including: Animation, body painting, books, Christian furries, felines, furotica, furry drawing, fursuiting, hoofers, greymuzzles, live gaming, mustelids, pagan furries, puppetry, reptiles, Second Life, wolves, video shooting and more! (please check Friday, Saturday, and Sunday schedules for specific times and locations)
• Art Show:
  We're still growing and aim to bring top notch furry artists to you at prices worth competing for!
• Artists' Alley:
  A place to sit down and draw for your fans, or perhaps pick up a commission or two.
• Dealers Den:
  In the Costa Mesa Ballroom, a smorgasbord of goods that you will scarcely find anywhere but here.
• Gaming Room:
  In the Pacific Room, we'll be offering round-the-clock gaming ranging from IronClaw RPGs to Dance Dance Revolution.
• Video Room:
  Located in room 140 across from the Hospitality Suite, this screening room will be open for you night owls out there, showing everything from classic television shows to cartoons to feature films.

We're still working on some last-minute ideas, so if you have any cool suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact us!

• The Ursa Major Awards:
  Where the shining stars of the fandom are honored!
• Fursuit Dance:
  Introduce yourself by showing off your slickest moves!

SATURDAY (May 5, 2007)

• Meet the Guests of Honor:
  See upcoming artist Balaa and musician Marc Gunn!
• Pet Auction:
  CaliFur once again brings back a classic CF tradition!
• Le Cabaret Fur Le Dance:
  A sexy Southern California original, we are proud to feature the return of many talented perfomers. We also welcome newcomers to help take this event to new heights.
• Fursuit Parade:
  A promenade of the furriest costume party in Southern California!
• Saturday Night Dance:
  Let your fur down and move that tail!

SUNDAY (May 6, 2007)

• Meet Roz Gibson:
  In person, the artist and creator of Jack Salem!
• Presenting your Art to Professionals:
  Get tips on preparing your porfolio for big time attention!
• Art Auction:
  Last chance to compete for that coveted piece of artwork!
• Talk Back:
  Let us know how to make next year's CaliFur even better!
