Programming

Although Califur is a newer con, we feel compelled to offer the best of furry for you in our programming. From our guests of honor to our many other events, we need to offer you the most for your convention dollar. This in mind, this is what we have lined up for you this year.

• Guest of Honor - Brian Wear - will be our artist Guest of Honor, and will be featured in our meet and greet and a panel of prominent artists.
• Toastmaster - 2, The Ranting Gryphon, Returns to Califur this year and is Anchoring our Saturday night lineup, as well as a Panel on Comedy
• The Califur Good Time Story Hour – (A.K.A. The names have not been changed to protect the innocent.) - We all have “Con Stories,” some good, some bad, some damn funny. Now it’s your turn to tell them!
• Video Room – Right off the Furum, is the movie room, a place that will always be open for you night owls out there, showing everything from anime to horror flicks and even a special, late-night screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
• The Cabaret – A Southern California original, the Caberet has come back this year with new people, and we are proud to have them, however we are always looking for more people to perform and help this great event out.
• Special Interest Groups (SIG's) – A few that are already in planning - “Funny Animals: A History of the Furry Fandom”, “What Would You Do If You Woke Up With A Tail?”, and many, many more.
• DJ's - Some or all of the DJ'ing will provided by Majik Fox
• Art Show – Our Art Show, although small, will be trying to bring the best from new furry artists to you at reasonable prices.
• Dealers Den – A Dealers' Room stocked with goods you will scarcely find anywhere but here.
• Artists' Alley – A place to sit down to draw for your fans, or perhaps pick up a commission or two.
• Gaming Room – In the Sunset Lounge we will be offering 24 hour gaming with everything from D&D to Monopoly.
